RD Long is a visionary. His journey as a professional athlete took a somewhat bumpy road. His obstacles were not athletic. They came in the form of prior knowledge and preparation for the journey. Because of his experience, RD saw a need to help those who came after him find a smoother path. He created Mind, Body, and Soul. The fullness of his vision is to teach young athletes how to succeed in all aspects of their lives — school, sports, and life. With such a broad name, his vision was not always clear to either the young people he serves or the benefactors who make his work possible. PAKAN helped RD discover and refine a brand position and identity that more clearly defines his program. We created Gameplan Academy. RD has been able to use this position to leverage funding for his aspiring nonprofit program and put his vision into practice.
